| Someone has now placed an order 3 times over the course of a couple months, but
all with all different accounts. There previous ones got deleted. The address
is different, but the account name is the same, along with the same message of
pls don't use invoice. Idk what to do? Report them for multiple accounts?
I can't prove it, but it's not a coincidence with same name and note
Thanks

The payment is good, right? The address is valid and does not show up as an
empty field on Google Maps?
I don't see any problem.
Someone made a valid order and submitted valid payment. AFAIK, there are no
BL rules against drop-shipping if the address attached to the payment is valid
and complies with Paypal terms to protect both merchant and buyer.

| Maybe I didn't make it clear, but they had an daccount, it got terminated
and then created another one, also terminated. And now they are on their third.
I know for sure that is against terms. Also, it was the same name, not username.

I'm still uncertain how that works. I guess I need to be less trigger happy
to block someone when things get too weird.

Wouldn't the customer name be different, if the user were drop-shipping?
Unless all of his customers have the same name.

| Hm, good point. It was an odd name with initials, I suppose they altered it slightly
but it was a one of a kind!

Make sure you include an invoice, i.e. a print of order's page so that the
customer can directly buy from you next time!

| As long as they provide the correct address for the label on Paypal, you're
fine. If you have a store, you're trying to makes sales, right?
And don't include an invoice. They kindly asked you not to and you are getting
an extra sale from their efforts to sell on a different platform. One could view
it as someone finding customers for you. Personally, I'd prefer to have their
repeat business as a seller than to "make a point" and get no sales from
them.
But hey, that's just my three cents . . .

You are making an assumption they are on a different platform. There was a Candaian
seller within a year that decided to just list a buttload of other Canadians
inventory at a huge markup and just buy from other Canadians and ship to their
customer taking the difference which is hugely against BL terms.
As far as I'm concerned if they are asking for no invoice to be put in they
are screwing the customer and should be outed as a scammer. The customer should
know they can buy directly off the people holding the stock and taking the risk
not just someone spending time on a computer without any risk and probably breaking
other rules if they are this unscrupulous. I say all drop shipping should be
blocked at all costs. Why should people on eBay get screwed just because they
don't know about Bricklink?
Take a stand and ask for an explanation. I have one customer who corrects mistakes
in her inventory (which are probably BL's fault) and dropships through me,
but she is upfront and doesn't care if I tell the customer where it comes
from; if it's honest and upfront I have no issue with BL and you making the
sale. But does BL and eBay need commission on the same piece(s) while the customer
pays for both of those markups? LEGO is too expensive already.
Fight the power!!!

| I am making an assumption. You are correct.
However, that assumption is based on a likely well known drop-shipper who has
thousands of purchases from Bricklink sellers. So quite a while I did some digging
on some of the items that they bought from my store and found them on another
platform that sells Lego, matching the same name/location/info that made it 100%
sure (to me, at least) that it was the same person. This is pretty easy to verify
with a few minutes of web sleuthing.
If a random person buys something from Ebay or Amazon, you do realize that many
times they do NOT care what the lowest price is, right? There are many factors
as to why they make that decision, including the website itself or ease of usage
or a thousand other reasons.
Admittedly, there are many people who try their hand at drop shipping and use
their own methods--sometimes almost like a pyramid scheme that is bound to
fail. The scenario that I responded to does not seem to be that situation.
Yes, we as sellers should all be careful, but that does not mean that we should
not provide the service that is expected from us as a seller. Personally, with
my non-Lego business, if I can sub-contract from another business in my profession
and get a price for my work that is agreeable to me, why on earth should I complain
about it?
I guess I'm up to 4 cents now?
