I have part 32270 (Technic, Gear 12 Tooth Double Bevel) in old gray - both Dark
Gray and Light Gray. They were clearly two different shades of the old gray colors.
All the Light Gray parts I had sold a long time ago. My Dark Gray gears aren't
moving at all.

Now I see that 32270 doesn't come in Dark Gray - officially. But a few others
have also listed this part in DARK Gray.

Why isn't this part officially listed as Dark Gray?

Because it never appeared in anything that has an official inventory. It was
probably made for model shops or LEGOLAND builds at one point.

Cheers,

Could your parts by a darker shade of light gray? There have been parts in light
gray in the past that have had a darker shade. I do not know if

Part No: 32270 Name: Technic, Gear 12 Tooth Double Bevel
*
32270 Technic, Gear 12 Tooth Double Bevel
Parts: Technic, Gear {Light Gray}
was
released in the darker shade though as I have never seen them in a darker shade.
