Hi, I’m from Mexico and i have to ship an order to the Netherlands, this is my
first time shipping over there, and i received a mail stating: “Print your order
receipt #21443159 to include for Customs office”. I’ve red it but still don’t
get it at all.

Is it enough just to print the pdf attached to the mail and paste it on my parcel?

What am i supposed to do? I feel like a noob.

Thanks!

One thing you need to be sure about is to give the IOSS number ELECTRONICALLY
to your postal/courrier services.  Otherwise your buyer will be paying import
VAT (21% + a brokering fee) a second time!

I think they want to you to print the version of the order that includes the
taxes and fees (when you click on the order number to open it up) and include
that with the customs form that should be in a customs pouch on the outside of
the package.

Print 2 copies of the order receipt. Put one copy inside the package. Put the
other copy in an envelope, write "CUSTOMS" in big letters on the envelope
and attach the envelope to the outside of the package.

Then, as SylvainLS stated, when you buy your postage, include Bricklink's
IOSS number in the appropriate field of the customs form. You have to buy the
postage online so you can include the IOSS electronically. If you buy postage
at the post office your buyer will not be credited with the VAT he paid and will
have to pay it again to get the package.

Thanks for your answers!!

I will be reporting back once I ship.

I will try to hand out that IOSS number in the postal office and ask about it
because they dont have any way to buy postage online. They dont even accept credit
card, only cash!!! We have a very technologically backwards postal service.

wow! at least you probably don't have like we do in Canada where it is cheaper
to ship a package from Canada to a usa shipping forwarding address and then from
their combine it with other packages and then ship it back to Canada depending
on where in Canada you buy it from

Ask for a supervisor and make sure whoever helps you understands international
shipping & the new IOSS requirements.
