Hi

While looking for some parts I came across this part.

This is not the first time I have come across this type of pricing, it seems
to happen on a very regular basis. I do believe that a store owner has every
right to charge whatever they desire for whatever they are trying to sell.

The issue I have is the way this price is screwing up the price guide and parting
out guide.

Would it not be a good idea to filter out, say the highest 1% of prices, and
1% of the lower prices when calculating the average price to be shown on the
guides. ( Like they do in sporting events like ice skating, gymnastics etc )

Just a thought.

( I apologise to the store owner for any embarrassment I may have caused. This
was not my intent )

it

I agree that it's 99% certainly accidental, and I have.

Until it's corrected it still screws up the guides.

My post is more about preventing/ trying to prevent these things arising in the
first place.
