Hello. I have been making creations on Mecabricks, but I recently learned to
use Bricklink Studio. I want to realize my MOCs that I created using Mecabricks,
and build them offline. So I want to check if a part exists, and if it costs
too much. Studio can provide me information about the price and availability
of an individual part. Therefore, I want to upload my Mecabricks model to Studio,
but I haven't found a way to do that. Can someone help me?

Hi,

If you can find a way in Mecabricks to export your model into the LDraw format,
then you could import it in Studio… but AFAIK, Mecabricks can only export to
Blender, in a way that makes it impractical to convert in anything else.
The cloud is magick… the cloud is a trap.

Also, the dedicated forum for Studio and PartDesigner is https://forum.bricklink.com/
(hover over the red Studio icon on every page, then click “Studio Forum”).

Please search the forum for your question before posting a new one (the search
box is in the very dark grey banner).
There’s indexes of known bugs and suggestions that you can browse first:

I did find a way to make this work;

1: download your Mecabricks file as a .dae
2: go to the .zip that will be downloaded and extract the model file.
3: go to https://mecabricks-ldraw-converter.netlify.app and upload the .dae file
and convert it. It will be downloaded as a .ldr file. From there you can import
that file into studio and it works fine.

Ok, I wrote this when I JUST discovered it, so I didnt really get a good look
at the effects. some parts shift around, and if mecabricks has a different name
for a part then there can be a null error. so keep in mind that some manual work
might work
