I'm quite sure it is not LEGO. The studs on the engine are too thick in material
and the moulding 'fold' on the side of the plate with the studs does
not appear on proper Lego engines. All of mine have Lego logo inside the studs
- does this one have?

Also the red round brick is not familiar to me.

I'm not 100% sure it's a real Lego piece as there are no markings and
it feels lighter.

on the photo it looks like 'army green', this might be a knock-off.

The 2 stud version of that part was dropped in 2000, which was 3 years before
dark bley came along. So, if it is dark bley it is not Lego.

If it is Lego it would have to be 4868a with some other part attached to it.

Part No: 4868a Name: Engine, Smooth Large, 1 x 2 Thin Top Plate
