| Hey everyone!
I just started my sellers account and I am really excited because I have a lot
of inventory coming! That being said, I am curious if anyone has any advice for
a beginner. I have been researching strategies a little bit but am curious what
other sellers and buyers have to say. All feedback is welcome!
Thanks!

This question gets asked A LOT. And has been answered many times, too.
Mostly, just keep listing more and more stuff for sale. Offer reasonable shipping
rates with no silly fees added. Price stuff what you think it is worth, and
don't try to be the lowest price.
If you like watching youtube videos, there are plenty to choose from that cover
lots of seller and buyer topics about BrickLink.
It's Lego. If you are not having fun, you are doing it wrong.
Good Luck, Have Fun, Sell Lots of Stuff, Make Lots of Money.

I have noticed a massive bump in amount of views and purchases in my store when
I continuously add NEW lots. And I don't mean new as in brand new pieces,
I mean a unique lot. The more unique lots you have the more attention you'll
grab. Trust me. Also, "the customer is always right" is BS but if anything
ever goes wrong in an order, including something that wasn't my fault, I
ALWAYS refund the messed up stuff and if I have it, resend it to them for free.
That may not be feasible for everyone, but I get my inventory for basically free...
so it works and keeps people happy and coming back since you actually care.

| Hello!
It is great to see another new seller, similar to myself. It seems you are doing
great so far, just waiting for your first order. I took a look at your store,
and all looks good, especially your terms section. There are only two things
I would recommend adding to your Store Terms, mostly to protect yourself as a
seller:
1. A note about packages returned to sender. This will help your customers know
what there options are if their package is returned to you: can they get a refund,
minus shipping costs; can they pay again to have the package sent out to them
again, etc.
2. Give a small note about whether you accept returns or not, and if so what
needs to happen for the package to be returned.
I know it is not fun writing lots of terms and conditions out (mine is too long,
so I will have to shorten it in the near future), but it gives your buyers a
clear picture of what they can expect when shopping at your store, and will hopefully
lead to a smoother transaction each time. As much as the T&C is to help your
buyers, it also to protect yourself for when something goes wrong.
I wouldn't worry too much about adding a lot more to your T&C until you figure
out how much time you are willing to dedicate to this, and more importantly how
important selling is to you. Unless you see yourself significantly increasing
the size of your inventory in a short period of time, I wouldn't worry about
adding large detailed sections to your T&C.
Lets see: since I have been rambling for a while, I will try to wrap this up
soon but will try to give some last little random tid bits of advice:
1. You can add/remove different columns in your Orders Received page, in the
Customize Display option towards the top of the page. I like to add the tracking
number column, so I can keep track of all the packages for each order.
2. Look around on every page you go to in the My Store tab. There are a lot of
somewhat hidden settings that can be very useful to mess around with.
Hopefully this wasn't too confusing,
-Alizarin
