| In attempting to find Minifigure Accessories that include an axle or axle hole,
I typed "minifigure axle". It returned over 700 parts that use the word
axle, including axles. It appears the search engine used an 'OR' instead
of an 'AND'. Why?

Because the search engine on the site is woefully bad. There's all sorts
of hiccups like that. Don't get me started on plural vs not.

Oh, how great it would be if there was a setting to make this permanent.

If you use Chrome, there is an extension (BrickTinker) made by a member here
where you can set the search default to Catalog. There are a number of other
good settings in there too.

The search engine is fairly primitive and can't use operators the way you
(or I) would like it to.
