| As a newbie who has jumped straight in without reading any instructions, am not
sure if this is already possible.
Link the orders generated from a wish list to that wish list. Then when I mark
an order as complete give the user the option to update the inventory in the
wish list. This then updates the "HAVE" values as per the quantities
from the order for a particular item.
Also, from the order details page, add a hyperlink to set the order to "Complete"
If I go to my wish list and "ADD ORDER" allow multi select of many orders
to update my wish list "HAVE" values.
If I have more items than I need from a particular order put the extra items
and quantities into another Wish List or into my Parts as stock as, I have them
but not using in any build.

It is already possible (see image below).
Be careful, though:
1. The "Apply Order" feature has no memory. It is possible to apply the
same order twice, and end up with twice the "Have" quantity.
2. Orders to Wanted Lists is not a one-to-one relationship. One order can contain
parts from many wanted lists, and one wanted list can contain parts from many
orders. If you apply the same order to two different wanted lists, you may end
up with duplicate "Have" quantities. To avoid this, combine all of your
wanted lists into one.
Hope that helps.
