It looks like the part 3777937783c03: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=3777937783c03&idColor=115#T=S&C=115&O={%22color%22:115,%22iconly%22:0}

should be labeled as 2 different parts and should be merged with parts:
- 37779c02: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=37779c02&utm_source=rebrickable#T=S&C=153&O={%22color%22:153,%22iconly%22:0}
- 37783c02: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=37783c02#T=S&C=153&O={%22color%22:153,%22iconly%22:0}

1. it is a monochromatic part meaning that it shouldn't have print abbreviations,
they should just be called 37779/37783
2. 37779c02 and 37783c02 are the same exact part as 3777937783c03
as they are just alternate colors

those ones look to be sorted by arm colour and not by hand colour so technically
they are just monochrome for those images but not as a whole

First of all, lets use the macros so we can all see to what we are referring.

[p=3777937783c03]

Part No: 37779c02 Name: Arm Large with Pin, Left with White Hand
*
37779c02 (Inv) Arm Large with Pin, Left with White Hand
Parts: Minifigure, Body Part

Part No: 37783c02 Name: Arm Large with Pin, Right with White Hand
*
37783c02 (Inv) Arm Large with Pin, Right with White Hand
Parts: Minifigure, Body Part

The first part is a pair comprised of the other single parts. Notice the (Inv)
after the item number. I can't really follow your logic that they be 'merged.'

It follows the pattern of these:

Part No: 981982 Name: Arm, (Matching Left and Right) Pair
*
981982 (Inv) Arm, (Matching Left and Right) Pair
Parts: Minifigure, Body Part

Part No: 981 Name: Arm, Left
*
981 Arm, Left
Parts: Minifigure, Body Part

Part No: 982 Name: Arm, Right
*
982 Arm, Right
Parts: Minifigure, Body Part

Finally, 'c' is not a print abbreviation. You are thinking of 'pb'
which is for decorated parts.

Here's some info:

Thanks,
Jen

if you check here: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=37779c03&idColor=0#T=S&C=115&O={%22color%22:115,%22iconly%22:0}
it does not show that it is in the same inventory as the azure blue version

My suggestion is that these are literally the same piece but in different colors

We could follow the other cases of monochrome parts and set this as c00 instead

The thing is, why these are inventoried with the hands and the normal arms don't?

The thing is, why these are inventoried with the hands and the normal arms don't?

The large arms and hands come pre-assembled in new sets and have PCCs assigned
to them:
https://brickset.com/inventories/41252-1
https://youtu.be/zzFdT7axybI?t=178

So one arm with hand is officially considered "one part".
