| I'm a new seller and I'm setting up the international shipping table
for my store and I'm having a bit of trouble with some of the pricing to
ship to Canada. If someone in Canada purchases something from me that weighs
less than 4 lbs, I can ship it in a Small USPS Flat Rate box for $30.70. However,
if they purchase a sealed LEGO set or something similar from me that falls in
the same weight range but doesn't fit in the Small USPS Flat Rate box, the
shipping cost would be $40-$50. Is there a way to differentiate these things
in my shipping table (Flat Rate box vs an order that doesn't fit in a flat
rate box and would cost more to ship)? I want the prices to be as fair as possible
for both the buyer and me in either circumstance. Would it be better to turn
off instant checkout for my international buyers and just have them request an
invoice from me? I was hoping to be able to do instant checkout for all my buyers
but maybe it's not the best thing in this particular situation. Thanks for
helping a new guy!

You should be able to add a size restriction in the shipping option also which
should help you out on that topic

A size restriction seems is a great idea. I could just limit it to the size of
the small rate box but maybe I may also add a 10% dimension/size margin to give
me a bit of a buffer. Thanks.

| Also you may want to add PayPal or stripe onsite payment methods. I realize your
store is still closed so you may already plan to but just in case you didn’t
know you need to add them so bricklink can collect sales tax from many places

I did add PayPal so far and linked it to my PayPal Business account. Does adding
Stripe seem necessary or does PayPal normally suffice in most situations? Thanks!

PayPal will usually do just fine but it’s the only alternative to PayPal so some
people like to offer it aswell

I created a Stripe account and it seemed like I was good to go but I keep getting
an error message when finalizing my Payments tab in BrickLink. Under the Credit/Debit
section, I get a red error message that says "Please indicate the buyer type
(Domestic, International, or both) for which this method will be available by
checking the boxes below." Then I click on both the Domestic and International
boxes to make Credit/Debit card payments available to both Domestic and International
buyers. There's a box next to both the Domestic and International checkboxes
that say "Leave a note for domestic buyers" and "Leave a note for international
buyers". Any idea what should go in there as a note? I can't seem to get
past the red error message.

| Perhaps its related to the bricklink server issues of yesterday and today. Have
you tried recently

Yeah, I tried again this evening to no avail. I may just get rid of Stripe payments
for now and just do PayPal for the time being. Still putting on the finishing
touches before getting my store (hopefully) approved. Thanks for your help.

$30.70?
I make sure I don't order from you then. Would you order?
You have a good solution: check simple export rate and ship using pirateship.com

I'll check Simple Export Rate out. Thanks for the suggestion.
