| I did notice there was no image of the gear as well as no one selling one.
I saw you made a request so I went to have a look and I saw there was no image
there.
I thought it was odd.
Must be super rare!

I doubt it exists at all (barring prototypes in Billund). All references to a
Dark Pink one seems to come from the official set renders, which clearly don't
match the actual final set (very common for Gear sets at the time!)

Dark Pink one seems to come from the official set renders, which clearly don't
match the actual final set (very common for Gear sets at the time!)

That reminds me of another clock set. Is the dolphin set clock actually Light
Blue? Render makes it look more Medium Blue.

Is the big gear blue? I just got Jack Stone and the gear is red, so dolphin
would be the only blue.

I wonder if these kitty clocks came with one random large cat and three random
small cats. That would help to explain things a bit.
I found alternates for a Bionicle clock set that I inventoried from a sealed

That question might wind up hard to answer, but I have added this whole class
of clocks to my routine auction searches. A bunch of them aren't even inventoried.
I have found two different Belville fairy clocks and neither had the fairy shown
on the front of the box. So random might be the case. Or the set picture just
wasn't reliable in this case. The initial inventory was just done from the
box picture.

vindicated after all these years!
I've been searching for this gear for a long time, but for the last couple
of years, came to the conclusion that it probably didn't exist.
One has never come up for sale.. and not a single photo of one at all!
and only a couple of months ago, I found pics of the set on a Japanese auction
site (already sold)
and what a surprise... no dark pink!
it's nice to put it to rest, and I can now finally claim to have every gear,
in every colour!
