| I just recently started my bricklink store and only have a little lots, but a
lot of them are duplicated, because that is the easiest way for me to pick and
pack orders. Is this driving away customers from my store? Last time someone
viewed it was 6 days ago. Does my feedback also make my sales lower? Any advice
would be appreciated!

| I tend to avoid sellers with a bunch of duplicate lots, in fact I ran into a
store yesterday that had up to like 8 lots for some pieces and they all had different
prices for the same parts both new and used (had like 4 used lots of the same
part, all priced different, same for the new lots)... yikes, seemed like a cluttered
mess and I moved on without buying anything from them... I'm sure there are
people that don't care at all about this and I have purchased from a couple
sellers that do it but its just easier to shop a Bricklink store when all the
same used pieces are listed together and all the same new pieces are listed together.

Thank you for the feedback, I understand it is a mess for stores that have different
priced duplicate lots, but all of my lots are priced the same just in different
Remarks.

Keep in mind that you can clean this up fairly easily in the back end of your
store. If you go to the "My Store", "Inventory" page, there is a check box for
"Non-Unique" in the right search bar. Select that and then click "Go!" without
any other options and it will list all duplicate entries in your inventory.
You can see all your remarks and consolidate everything together to update your
inventory accordingly.

Duplicate lots make it harder on buyers for a couple of reasons that might drive
them away.
1) As mentioned, it's more difficult to search through a store to find parts
when they are all spread out. This makes the page count go through the roof
and cause for lots of unnecessary scrolling and paging on the store.
2) It may cause your store to not show up as well in the buying algorithms. If
you have 3 black 3001 bricks but all listed as individual lots but I'm looking
for a buying that has lot minimum of 3, you won't show up because you only
have one in each lot.
As much as is can be a hassle for new stores (myself included), I've found
that it is much better to consolidate like parts in the store. If you have multiple
locations for the parts in your facility, you can use the "remarks" field so
that you know where to find them all when an order comes in. The other reason
that I use duplicate entries is if I have parts that are damages or otherwise
need notes and have cost difference from better conditioned parts.

Yes, I avoid stores with multiple lots unless they are just to denote quality.
No, I don't avoid low feedback stores as long as they have professional and
confidence-inspiring terms / splash page to convince me they know what they are
doing.
In my experience, quantity and variety are the only things that drive sales here
on BrickLink. Unless you have one or both, you are going to have slow sales.
Be patient and keep growing your inventory!
Good luck,
Jen

| I would try not to create duplicates unless theres a huge difference in the part.
Keep adding new lots and more parts etc keep building keep growing.
