I have this happening not only to me.
0-feedbacks users, fresh new, make orders and then not only they do not pay,
but they do not answer emails either.
I can understand the buyers' remorse, but the complete lack of politeness
is unexplicable to me.
I would suggest that if a buyer gets a NPB on their first order, probably they
are not good members of the community and their privileges should be revoked
without the need of waiting for three strikes.
And if this happens..... save the ip-address they have used, so if a new member
at the same ip-address is registered there will be a warning of some kind.

Nope, don't like it. We shouldn't be making things too difficult and
risky for new users, as they are the reason bricklink stays alive. Already there
is the option to block negative feedback buyers, and I've sure most stores
have that enabled. That is basically in a way what you are suggesting, as a new
NPB buyer is most likely going to get himself a negative, blocking himself from
all those stores.

Agreed, I think BL is already somewhat daunting and perhaps even unwelcoming
for new users.

I wouldn't say that. Most websites use "instant checkout." If a buyer fails
to pay for their first order, it doesn't necessarily mean that "they are
not good members of the community." Perhaps they are just learning to use BrickLink
for the first time, as we all did at some point.
