Hey

I have some gold colored round plate 1x1 (4073).

The lower one is Pearl gold. But the two others I dont know... The one on top
is alot more shiny then pearl gold, but its not Chrome gold?

and the one in middle (a little to right) is also more shiny then pearl gold
but a lot darker.

Does anyone have a clue what colors thoose two are??

Thanks in advance
Johan

Hi,

The one in the middle could be Flat Dark Gold, a variant of Pearl Gold, because
every Pearl colors are not everytime the same.

In addition to what WoutR already mentioned; Flat Dark Gold and Pearl Light Gold
are two even more distinct colors from Pearl Gold as well, not variations of
it.

Here are some Pearl Gold variations next to true Flat Dark Gold. (sorry no Pearl
Light Gold here, my lego's all packed up at the moment)

They are ALL Pearl Gold.
There is some variation within that colour.

The sellers who are listing them as Flat Dark Gold and Pearl Light Gold are incorrect.

Yes, you are right, but…..

The sellers who are listing them as Flat Dark Gold and Pearl Light Gold are incorrect.

By listing them aren’t they telling buyers the color is different from “normal”
PG?

But I agree, they are all the same color.

What is "normal"?

They are different shades of Pearl Gold. If sellers want to tell buyers about
the difference, they could make different listings for the items with a note
about the shade in the description, but in all cases they are Pearl Gold.

But I agree, they are all the same color.

I'd also like to add that these darker round plates tend to be more brittle
than your average part. From my experience, they're even more brittle than
your pre-2018 Reddish Brown/Dark Red.

Thanks all for this amazing help. You are all amazing and you help me to learn
more about different colors. I will do as someone said. List them with three
different lots, with comments about darker pearl Gold, "normal" pearl gold, and
more shiny pearl gold.

Thanks

Yeah,
Going on from what the others said, The buyer should ask which hue of gold they
want. You should put 2 listings.

Put your own images so they know what they are buying.

Random related question. If anyone has the 1x1 round plate in Chrome gold, can
they post a picture of the underside? Thanks!

The golds and silvers have been issues on the eyes at times.
