Concerning these two parts specifically in Dark Brown....
I recently acquired set 6073-1 complete in the box, and it looks barely touched
since it was opened. All the pieces are in like new condition and all the feathers
are still on the sprues and the pamphlet is even in the box. Curiously, the bows
and quivers are dark brown instead of the standard brown, or at least they appear
dark brown compared to standard brown parts I have.
While it is hardly proof that this is a possible source of these pieces in this
color, it's a pretty strong indication. I just thought some people might
find it an interesting find.

Certain parts in the old Brown color definitely had variations; some much more
noticeable than others (especially when you have several of the same item in
Brown to compare)... I have noticed that it tends to be the 'softer'
plastic parts with the most variation... I cannot tell you how often I have what
looks like a mismatch in shades of brown between the body and arms/legs of this
little guy over the years:

Years ago it bought some bows and received dark brown ones. I thought they were
fake but I didn't do anything about it. I wonder if I kept them?
Thanks for the insight!
