More out of curiousity than requesting a change:
Why is below technic piece under the category "bricks"?
To me this piece is similar in form and function as
more so than for instance in the same category and naming as 25214.

Probably because it is very similar to

That's interesting! I wasn't aware of this history.
With that in mind I would say, let the history not define current logic in the
catalog, and I would like to request the Technic piece to move to the Technic,
Connector category. Thanks for considering.
