Please make changes to the following inventory:

Set No: 1470 Name: Shell Station polybag
*
1470-1 (Inv) Shell Station polybag
24 Parts, 2 Minifigures, 1986
Sets: Town: Classic Town: Gas Station

* Delete 1 Part 3009pb156 White Brick 1 x 6 with Red 'Shell' Wide Pattern
* Add 1 Part 3009pb004 White Brick 1 x 6 with Red 'Shell' Bold Pattern

Comments from Submitter:
I think this is the wrong brick, the error has occurred because LEGO show the wrong brick on the polybag and instructions but I have a set which is still sealed and I can see that a different brick is in included with this set. I can provide a photograph to show this if it helps.

I think you are perfectly right. These different 1x6 Shell Bricks have been on
my to-do list for a while. And I know it should be 3009pb004 for the 80's,
but I couldn't find proof so far. So it would be very nice to have some proof
at last.

Could you add some images to this thread please, showing the sealed polybag with
this Shell Brick in it and a close up of the Brick itself?

Another question, which I hope you can answer. Can you see if the brick has a
surface print or an embossed print? Maybe it's visible on your close-up photo.

Thanks,
Diana

Hi Diana,

Please find photographs of the sealed set and close ups of the brick as requested.

As well as the sealed set I also have two more opened versions of the same set.
I am not the original owner of either of these so cannot 100% guarantee their
accuracy but they came from different sources and both have the same style 1980's
brick, which have surface prints rather that embossed prints.

Thanks,
Johnny
