Hi guys,

I have a whole lot of images (of piece parts and minifigures) that are better
quality and clearer than the current main ones on Bricklink (e.g. 'spider01'
is very poor, and I have a better picture of that Animal).

Should I gather the images and send them somewhere they can be replaced on the
catalog listings?

Thanks, love the website!

You can add some to your post to show and an administrator can have a look?

Yes please.

Familiarise yourself with the details on this page:

https://www.bricklink.com/help.asp?helpID=87

And please ensure they are your own original images.

Then as already mentioned please use this page to submit them directly.

https://www.bricklink.com/catalogAdd.asp

If you want to do a small batch first then we can provide any feedback or if
you see them approved then all is good.

Thanks,
Paul.

Hey Paul, Thanks for your comment.

Some of them I have collected in said folders aren't mine, because if I found
a decent pic on Google Images I just grabbed it from there, instead of needing
to take a pic myself.

Is that still a problem? They don't have watermarks.
If it's an issue, I won't bother sending them through on here.

Thanks!

Of course it is an issue. You don't own other people's work if you downloaded
their images from other sites. You cannot give other commercial applications
the right to use and make profit from them if you don't own them.

One thing to consider is that only low resolution images are used for small images.
What might appear a great image can become poor once reduced in size and cropped
if necessary. It is not so bad for minifigs but can be bad for large assemblies.
