Perhaps they could be reclassified as parts instead of gear? Then, there would
be the option to list them under a specific color, although the colors in the
photo above do not look like standard LEGO colors.
Alternatively, the catalog administrators could add the option for gear to be
listed under a specific color.
Or, specific listings could be created for each color.
Personally, I would list them all under the current catalog entry, with a custom
image for each color and a comment letting the buyer know which color they will
receive.
"Known Colors" would have to appear in a set/gear inventory first. BUT, you can
already list it with any color! Most gear is listed with color "not applicable",
but that's not forced. See this gear:

All that needs to be done here, then, is add small images in each color to the
existing listings. Although the catmins would make the final call on whether
they deserve separate listings instead.
