That would have been handy to know years ago...now, not so much.

I believe this feature is newer than the majority of your inventory contributions.
So you haven't missed out on anything.

I hope I’ll be able to use this tip soon since I ordered some sets from LEGO
to inventory but I ordered them like a week or more ago and they still haven’t
arrived and I think al the ones I ordered have now been inventoried

That's a long time to wait on a delivery! Bummer. You can always reserve
a set that you are buying and intending to inventory. It holds it for 3 days.
I was thinking about it but I’d feel bad reserving it for so long since LEGO
for me always seams to to 1-2 weeks to arrive and if someone else already bought
it I didn’t want them to see it reserved for 1-2 weeks with no updates

That's a tough one... I understand your concerns!
The June 1st release (North American) sets were all done pretty quick this go-round.
There's not much left other than Dots and Duplo.
Next time ill tries to get them earlier! It's always lots of fun to inventory
sets. It's a great way to relax and have some fun so hopefully ill be able
to start helping again I've taken too long of a break since I was inventorying
sets more often

Sort by Item number first will make it even faster, but I'm sure you already
knew that Personally I would prefer sorting by number to be default. With
every change it pops back to color name.
I already add the common extra's in the right column, before I start building.
After the build I check and (if needed) I change the extra's on the bottom
of the inventory page. This works really great.
When checking inventories I also use the right column to check.
Tip for faster approval of inventories, concerning extra's. Please let us
know in the inventory note:
- if a common extra part, is not an extra in your box
- if you have an extra part that is not a common extra part (but please double
check).
If it's already mentioned in the note, we won't have to send you a message.
