Hello all

Just a quick question about buying parts.

Recently I received an order with a couple of parts in it (about £1 each) ordered
specifically. WHen they arrived, they had stickers covering the full face of
them instead of just the plain part.

I'm a bit annoyed as now I have to remove the stickers which can leave sticky
residue etc. Is it a major issue - no not really. Lets facew it the world will
keep turning, its a minor inconvenience but nobody has died etc. Typical first
world problem ha ha

Do I raise it with the seller or let it go?

I'm also asking as a seller if this is a massive no no or generally ok

cheers!

Raise it with the seller, but be cordial about it. In this way, they know the
practice is unacceptable unless notes are added to the items for sale. If the
parts are still useful, I would then just let it go and add leave feedback, not
expecting any compensation in return. You can use a number of things to safely
remove the residue.

Cheers,
Randy

It's a big no-no. I would let that seller know, leave a note for myself on
their shop that they are just a hobby seller, and move on.

Stickers can leave residue but they can also discolor the plastic. Some older
stickers fall apart and cannot be removed. More often though, the parts not covered
by the sticker appear a different color like a picture frame on a wall. On the
bright side, the area under the sticker is unlikely to be scratched or damaged!
