| I'm not sure I'm reporting this right...
According to the sets I got:
In set 75304, qty 4 of 92280 yellow should be 44861 yellow.
In set 76187, qty 9 of 92280 dark pink should be 44861 dark pink, while qty 3
should remain at 92280.
Details:
There seems to be an error on the inventory for sets 75304 (Darth Vader Helmet)
and 76187 (Venom) regarding piece 92280 (Plate, Modified 1 x 2 with Clip on Top).
Darth Vader's lists 4 of that piece in yellow and Venom's lists 12 of
that piece in dark pink, but none of the 4 yellow pieces and only 3 of the 12
dark pink ones have the little notch in the clip that differentiates them from
piece 44861 (Plate, Modified 1 x 2 with Open O Clip on Top).
I don't know if this is an error or a variable.

Are you saying you got these two sets new/sealed with part
instead of
?
That is definitely possible because 44861 is an updated version of 92280 and
I think 92280 is completely phased out, i.e. all sets which are still in production
now come with 44861.
Please confirm if you got the new variant 44861, then it can be added to the
inventories as an alternate part for 92280.

Yes, I got the new variant 44861 in the sealed sets, though in the case of the
Venom set it was a mix (3 old, 9 new).
