| Please, please, please give us an option to select a default "Sort By" in the
Wanted Lists.
My preference is "Alphabetical" and I note others have asked for this before.
The reverting to "Newest" every time you leave and return to the page is really
tiresome.
For such a useful and clever website I can't believe this is not a do-able
thing.
Does anybody read these ?

You can sort of do it...
Open your Wanted List.
Change the sort order.
Hit the Edit button (in the group of buttons next to search bar).
Then hit the Save button.
Note: this will change the sort order for all your Wanted Lists.

I think OP is talking about the order of the list of WLs, not the items
inside the WLs themselves.

Thanks beaverbrick , you taught me a new trick.
SylvainsLS is correct, I am referring to the order of the Wanted Lists themselves
I have about 150 incomplete sets as wanted lists- with names beginning with their
set numbers. So an alphabetical order is the easiest for me when jumping around
the list.

I want to add that this should be sticky - but if not can the list on the upload
page here
https://www.bricklink.com/v2/wanted/upload.page?utm_content=subnav
at least be the same as the default list
https://www.bricklink.com/v2/wanted/list.page?utm_content=subnav
having the sort order constantly different in those places always keeps me searching
for the right list.
The add item pop-up from the catalog page also has the same sort order as the
upload page which is by list number (oldest first) and the default on the wanted
list page is newest first!
