| Hello,
Recently iw as looking at the fees owed in my store on bricklink, and it said
I had 28.50 in my current balance? Where did this money come from, and will it
automatically subtract that from my fees owed? I just have never had any money
in there before, it has always said $0.00.
Thanks, NG

BrickLink fees are billed on the 5th of the month, so my guess is that you have
$28.50 worth of fees due from the previous billing period (February 5th to March
4th). You should be able to see the breakdown of fees by order on your fees page.
The money is not automatically debited from your PayPal account and you must
pay manually by PayPal or by credit card. There should be a button on your fees
page that lets you do this quite easily, and you may have received an email from
BrickLink a few days ago with an invoice and a button to pay.
Play Well.

P.S. I forgot to explain what BrickLink fees are! They are the cost of selling
on BrickLink. The formula is complicated, but for small orders I believe it is
calculated as 3% of the order total. You will only get charged if your balance
is at least $5.00 (I believe it is $10 in other countries), but you will get
charged at least once a year (usually in December) for tax purposes.

| Thanks, I understand the paying of fees, let me clarify, it says I owe 14 something
in fees that I need to pay by the end of the month, I have always paid my fees
on time from former months. Underneath the amount due, it says I have a current
balance of $28.50 that’s what I am confused about. I am just wondering what that
money is for, why it is there, and if I have more than fees owed if this will
automatically pay them for me.
Thanks, NG

Balance is what you owe, not what you have. So at the end of the month you'll
need to pay $28.50; more if you get more sales.

14$ is the total you owe for last month. The other 14 that brings it to a total
of 28.50 is from fees that you owe so far this month. But all you have to pay
so far is the 14 from last month.

Ok, so I owed 28.50 for this month, but have paid some of it when I paid last
months fees, so now I only have a total of $14 due? Am I understanding this right?
Also thanks for everyone’s help!!!
Thanks, NG

Typically your balance is higher than what you owe. You only owe for fees assessed
last month (in this case, February). But your balance will be whatever you were
assessed last month plus your fees on orders received this month. When
you pay last month's fees then your balance will be only what you've
been assessed this month.
