that is has both a thin and a thick clip variant.
I have uploaded a comparison image. My thin clip is from a set from 2008 and
my thick clips come from a 2021 set, so the change took place between those two
years.

My guess is that the two part numbers 2525 and 53912 identify the variants (the
latter are printed on my thick clip parts).

BTW, you can remove [P=bslot16] from that list. I split is last year.
