| Hi
Not sure if this is the right place, but I was recently buying a set off eBay,
the listing noted it was incomplete so I parted out on here into a new wanted
list and was trying to gauge from photos how complete the set was. I asked the
seller for the total weight to try and gauge from that, but the weight on the
set's page in the catalogue appears to be total weight including box and
instructions.
Would it not be useful to somehow get a total weight for a wanted list. This
will help in the situation above, to try an estimate quickly completeness of
a set, but also help buyers ascertain some kind of gauge on shipping costs before
attempting to buy?

You can do this with third party software.
BrickStore is very good. You can import a Wanted List, select all parts and
it will give you a total weight.
