Hello,

I was thinking about building a MOC from my own inventory and would like some
help with how to go about that. I have about 70% of the parts needed, what i
would like to do is take those pieces, and make it so no one can buy them from
my store, but they are still in bricklink so i can see what drawer they are in.
How would i go about doing this? Is this what the stockroom feature is for?

Thanks, NG

Yes, just put them in your stockroom. Add to the remarks extra details if needed.

The stockroom would work, yes. Anything marked stockroom is hidden from buyers,
but still in your inventory.

You can also have up to 3 stockrooms (A,B and C) by checking the "Enable multiple
stockrooms A, B and C" option in store settings. That way you can keep pieces
for a MOC in a separate stockroom.

Another way be to just use BrickStore.

Created in 2006 by a German developper - rewritten in 2021: free and open source.
https://github.com/rgriebl/brickstore/releases

1) Make your list or import your Wanted-List in BrickStore.
2) Import your Shop inventory.
3) Use the "-" button from your shop to remove your list
4) Use the Export mass UPDATE (NOT upload!) the export the difference

Paste it here, at the BOTTOM of the page.
https://www.bricklink.com/invXML.asp

Boom - done, a few clicks

But please first try and make some testings before. Get use to this wonderful
software.

HTH -

Sylvain
