| Hi there,
Recently there was a change in pricing methodology change from the service we
got from our national post service. With this price change countries can't
be grouped together since prices vary without adhering to a certain logic but
instead possibly some marketing analytic s worked by the postal service...
such as this,
................Germany.........Austria
0-100 gr........6.21............5.41
100-250 gr......6.96............7.33
250-500 gr......8.18............10.56
500-1000 gr.....10.66...........16.91
1000-2000 gr....15.58...........29.69
So in order to have a proper checkout I grouped some countries and priced with
a bit of margin and priced those countries which I have a sales history individually...
Now comes the bitter part, in this pandemic, every now and then shipping to a
certain country gets closed. For me, today it's Germany & Australia...
Wouldn't it be nice if there was a checkbox in each column of the shipping
rate chart so we can exclude that zone/country on and off?
I've disabled instant checkout for international orders at the moment. In
the current setup I would delete the country that shipping is not possible and
later on when shipping possible re-enter the same prices for relevant weight
ranges... Double work...
Best regards,
Nejat

It is actually possible already. You can group different countries into different
zones and assign countries manually. You can set a weight band and price each
zone individually.
You can also go into the shipping method from your store settings and modify
existing ones, by checking or unchecking them after clicking on the zone header.
I've included some print screens.

As you can see from the example above I can group 100gr portion but I can't
group for above 1000gr since the prices differ heavily. Creating a separate shipping
method for each country would be tedious and also means duplication of other
settings.
