| I read this line in a storeterm and I thought it was funny enough to share it
on the forum.
“Uninsured parcels or envelopes are sent at the seller's risk, since no refund
is possible if they are lost.”

I don't know why but people confuse buyer with seller, and seller with buyer.
That goes for native English speakers too.

I know, it's done all the time on the forums. It's quite confusing.

Nothing to do with language. It’s simply referred to as “projection” in psychological
terms. The process of misinterpreting what is "inside" as coming from "outside"
We all do it daily, believe it or not

The statement is absolutely correct though. If neither party pays for insurance,
it is the sellers risk. In the USA at least. I find nothing wrong here

| It’s actually 50% wrong though. They are sent at the seller’s risk, but refund
will be possible (and required) if it’s lost. Or even if the buyer just lies
and says it was lost. 😀
