I think it would be good to have a setting in the forum for sales notifications
to avoid seeing notifications of sales from stores that don't ship to you.
Especially as some of those sellers provide valuable non sales posts and therefore
don't want to block them and not see any of their posts

You can block threads that they start, rather than all their posts. That's
what I do for some of the more frequent sales posters. Although the frequent
ones tend not to post anything but sales posts. Otherwise you soon learn names
and know they don't ship to you without looking at the post.
