Please make changes to the following inventory:

Set No: 127 Name: Train Set
*
127-1 (Inv) Train Set
363 Parts, 1969
Sets: Train: 4.5V

* Add 8 Part wheel1a Red Train Wheel with 2 x 2 Stud Center, Traction Teeth

Comments from Submitter:
It's quite confussing. Train appears on box pictures with spoked wheels only. Nevertheless, following builing instructions it should be 2x2 stud center wheels for the passanger train carriage as well as for postal services train carriage. The locomotive should have spoked wheels (with rims) and the battery holder spoked wheels. This is also the devirence with set 116. All train cars in the 116-set have 2x2 stud center wheels. Therefore, these sets are not similar.

Thus, wheel1a should be added to the 127-set inventory list (8 pieces) and wheel2b should be changed from 16 to 4 pieces for this inventory list. To my opinion, the statement that sets 116 and 127 are similar (but with different numbers should be deleted.

The wheels

Part No: wheel1a Name: Train Wheel with 2 x 2 Stud Center, Traction Teeth
*
wheel1a Train Wheel with 2 x 2 Stud Center, Traction Teeth
Parts: Wheel
were not used/produced since 1969. See
https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=wheel1a&in=S

The box art and the instructions were designed about the transition time from

Part No: wheel1a Name: Train Wheel with 2 x 2 Stud Center, Traction Teeth
*
wheel1a Train Wheel with 2 x 2 Stud Center, Traction Teeth
Parts: Wheel
to

Part No: wheel2b Name: Train Wheel Spoked for Wagon
*
wheel2b Train Wheel Spoked for Wagon
Parts: Wheel
so TLG did not bother to correct them just before the producing and releasing
them for sale.
For some trains released in that time, there were two versions of instructions.
For exmaple train

Set No: 119 Name: Super Train Set
*
119-1 (Inv) Super Train Set
394 Parts, 1968
Sets: Train: 4.5V
were in the market for many years (1968-1971?) and many parts were changed, specially
the black 4.5v motor so TLG bothered to change the instructions. See

The funny thing is the image on the last page of the second version. The wheels
are first version (incorrectly)

Part No: wheel1a Name: Train Wheel with 2 x 2 Stud Center, Traction Teeth
*
wheel1a Train Wheel with 2 x 2 Stud Center, Traction Teeth
Parts: Wheel
but the instructions shows

Part No: wheel2b Name: Train Wheel Spoked for Wagon
*
wheel2b Train Wheel Spoked for Wagon
Parts: Wheel
