| Hello experienced sellers,
I am still learning and would like to know how i should invoice for a shipping
speed upgrade after an instant checkout has already been completed, by customers
request.
I don't want to risk breaking the rules. thank you very much!

The easiest way that I can think of to do this would be to set the payment status
to none,* set the order status to ready, then delete the order total and replace
shipping with the shipping upgrade charge, and then resend the invoice.**
*Go to the order details page and click "Edit Order" at the bottom of the page,
then select "None" from the drop-down menu next to "Payment Status".
**Click the little paper icon to the right of the order number. Since it was
an instant checkout order, it should have a green check mark.

The easiest way is to give the customer the various shipping speeds in the first
place, and let them select at checkout. That is how I do it.
