When searching for parts I try to combine multiple parts from the same seller
to save shipping costs. At this moment I have 10 to 20 sellers in my cart.
It would be convenient if I, when listing a part on the "item for sale" page,
would be able to filter or have an indication that a certain seller is in my
cart already.
You can pick store that carry most of the parts you need, and work your way down
until all your wanted parts are accounted for.
Alternatively, you can use the Auto-Select feature to minimize the overall cost
including shipping fees.

I am using wanted lists indeed to keep track of all my desires
This use case is not for a whole list, but a single part I am searching for.
As I have a list of open carts it would benefit me, when searching for an individual
part, to see sellers where I already have a cart.
I understand and I fully agree with you, I have personally backed this suggestion.

A feature like this is available for 'favorited stores', such as on the
wanted list show items page. You can set the option to sort favorite stores on
top.
The original request is for the part's page "Items for Sale" tab, not for
the Wanted List Buy page, although I'd like to see the same feature there
as well.
