| Hi.
I have a bunch of minifigs of unknown origin/set/year/theme. It would be cool
to find them in the BL inventories so I can:
- recombine them how they shall be
- find out what sets the came from
- get missing parts from BL
Trouble is that the category "minifig-torso-assembly-decorated" has 4k items.
There is no option to SORT by COLOR, even this data is in the database of BL.
When not knowing the origin of the item, the basecolor (of body and arms) is
the only thing I know for sure, so I would like to narrow down the list by this,
then look over the pictures until I find which one it is.
Tried this in Brickstore, it also does not allowing sorting this category by
color. Also same in add-brick in rebrickable.

(1) Start at the Color Guide: https://www.bricklink.com/catalogColors.asp (You
can get to this page by hovering over the "Market" image in the site header and
choosing "Color Guide" under the "Catalog: REFERENCE" section.)
(2) Find the base color you want in the list of colors and click on the number
hyperlinked in the "Parts" column.
(3) Narrow down to the "Minifigure, Torso Assembly" categories if a summary screen
comes up.
Cheers,
Randy

on "Catalog Summary"
(4) Once you are in the torso category, in the "Find" Search bar, you can limit
the amount of listings shown even more by putting in the color hands and arms
like:
"{color} arms {color} hands"
Make sure to use those quotation marks.

| You could try this tool, the torso section is the best place to start.

Hi!
I am not sure I understand you. But let me tell you what I do to fund items.
I have an app on my phone that is called "Google Lens". With this app I can scan/photograph
the item I would like to know the LEGO number off. Many times Google Lens knows
this part or the minifig it is used in. Then from this starting point you should
be able to find out to which minifig i.e. the body also belongs to.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Marco
