| Howdy, our internet went down for over a day and the employees didnt tell me.
this happened over a month ago and now I am discovering many of the sales I
made were not recorded by bricksync once the program got back up and running.
Is there a way to get bricksync to recognize those sales so I dont have to go
and adjust all these by hand?

| What makes you think bricksync did not process the orders?
I only ask as bricksync usually catches up as soon as the connection is restored.
You can check in your bricksync\data\orders folder to see if the orders that
you believe are missing, exist in there. If the orders do exist in that folder,
then bricksync processed them.
As mentioned, "blmaster on", then "blmaster off" will re-download your BrickLink
inventory.
Note, there is a known bug with blmaster. I don't recommend running it if
you have any orders stuck "In Progress".

Thanks for having me run blmaster on and blmaster off. I had 1 inventory item
that needed updating.
Please review the log, it downloads missing orders. Unsure if it will pickup
orders from a month ago, but it will fetch recent new orders.

| I didnt know about it till now. it happened on april 14th. I saw we were short
12 of something this morning so I tracked it back to the last time I sold that
item then saw that order was never recorded. I went to find it on bricksync
log and saw that the log on the 14 ended at like 4 am that morning and was not
restarted till 3.00 the next afternoon. after askiing the employees one was
like "yeah, the internet was down for the day" urg. I am currently going thru
the item numbers doing a search and find in bricksync logs on the 15th and many
were never recorded. I confirmed they were not recorded by double checking my
actual inventory. they were not recorded. Ive been using bricksync for years,
I am familiar with blmaster on and off and sync. this is new. Ive never seen
it not record the sales after it was back up and running.

| Do you 'file' orders?
Bricksync will only pick up non-filed orders, so if the orders were filed during
the time the internet was down, that could explain it.

| son of a @#%^$. I did not know that. That will have been the problem. crap.
is there a solution to that? I would assume it wouldnt help at all to now put
them back in file. its 14 orders! and not small orders either. which usually
I would be glad about. just not today

so based on that, looks like what happened is internet went down overnight, computer
must have died or somehow bricksync got closed at that time. next day employee
restarts computer, forgets to check bricksync (again I say...URG) pulls orders,
ships orders, files orders all not knowing bricksync is down (guess urg is redundant
at this point) until next employee come at 3 and responsibly checks bricksync.
poop.

| Nicely summarised
If it's not already, add bricksync to your computers 'startup' folder...
then if it does reboot for any reason, bricksync will auto start.

| If you un-file the orders, bricksync should find and process them... BUT depends
on your situation as to whether you really want to do that.
If you have manually adjusted your inventory already for a load of parts over
the course of the last month since the outage, bear in mind that after bricksync
processes the missing orders, your inventory quantities will be wrong for all
those parts.
The other option is to go through the orders and do a stock check, manually adjusting
your inventory where needed.
I guess you'll have go weigh up which way is better.
Either way, I'd strongly recommend taking a backup of your inventory first

| VICTORY!!! I took one and marked it as PAID instead of SHIPPED, then ran "check"
on bricksync and it picked it up!!! yay! Its much better for me to have these
parts removed today so I can reopen. I can recount these parts throughout the
week this way to get inventory back in line but at least I wont over sell. thanks
again for everyones help and hopefully all this helps someone else

| well glitch number 507 for the day. this only works if they buyer has not marked
the order as "completed". I cant change it back to paid if theyve done that.
oh well, at least half of these will be alot easier.

Open brickstore/brickstock, download the missing orders, multiply quantity by
-1 and upload. That should remove the rest of the missing parts.

That error is looking for a specific LotID and it couldn't find it.
Could have sold an item on both BO & BL at around the same time... then as bricksync
processed the BO order, the item had already been sold from your BL inventory
and so it couldn't find it.
