My Moscow order is a little overdue (6 weeks), but more disturbing is the package
location and scans. Tracking shows my package (42055 set) at the Russian/German
border since 4/1/21 and, obviously no scans.
1) Anyone have experience with our brothers in Russia?
2) Does anyone know if tracking numbers change at the border?
3) Is DHL really pissed at Russia, and delaying their shipping.
4) Never order from Russia.

Just be patient. There's no big Russia.

I have no direct experience with packages from Russia, but I will say that DHL
*seems* to use more local carriers to complete hops....and there *seems* to be
blackout periods in the tracking. I've seen this same thing for packages
I bought directly from Lego (all pick-a-brick orders) that were shipped DHL from
Europe to the USA. One of my pick-a-brick orders, for some reason, ended up on
a freighter...and got handed off to USPS. It made it here...weeks behind schedule.

Have you called DHL? Their website isn't super useful. Their reps seem to
know what they are doing.

I live in Russia and have a main storage of my store here.
We don't use Russian Post for most of our orders. Because of problems with
Russian Post (delays, lost parcels) we created own logistic process that allow
us to provide orders from Moscow to Vilnius with custom clearence of bulk of
orders together, and then we ship orders to the customers from Vilnius. It is
a longer process, so we have many negs from buyers who don't read our terms
and descriptions of shipping method, but it is more safely for us.
Thats fun, but the price and time of straight shipping from Moscow and two-stage
shipping process is always the same, Russian Post is both auful and expensive.

There was a situation when we were need to ship bulk of orders faster than truck-delivery,
so we used EMS Express russian post for this bulk (they have 5-10 days in description)
So... This bulk of orders come in Vilnius after a month, and some weeks for customs
process, because there were some problems at the post side...

So as your brother in Russia I can just say that as a sellers we have so much
problems to work from this country...
