Hi,

I don't know if this is the right section for this post, but it seems the
most appropriate.

I've been using Studio 2.0 for quite some time now, and I'm missing a
feature, a tool, that would make building stuff easier:

A REVEAL tool that enables me to gradually hide bricks, starting at the top and
gradually 'hiding' them until the bottom most bricks are the only bricks
still shown. I think a vertical slider would be the best UI element for this.
Dragging the slider from top to bottom would gradually hide bricks starting at
the top. Sliding back up would reveal or unhide them again.

This would reveal the inner parts of a model, which would be a very helpful tool
to check if parts don't overlap or if there are any unsupported bricks. This
tool would also be helpful when finally creating the steps for the instruction
manual.

I hope that this tool will make it into the software. If the software was opensource,
I would attempt to add it myself. Please contact me if can be of any assistance.

Kind regards,
Bastiaan

I agree. That would definitely help with building. Quite often changing or fixing
something internally means taking apart the exterior.

You can hide parts or complete sub-assemblies with the shortcut key L or "Edit
- Hide". You can also select multiple parts to be hidden, and you can use the
orthogonal views with the numeric pad to have a view of the side of the model
to select only the top bricks.
