| Please make changes to the following inventory:
* Delete 2 Part 50898 Black Technic, Axle and Pin Connector 2 x 7 with Two Ball Joint Sockets (match ID 1)
* Add 2 Part 61054 Black Technic, Axle and Pin Connector 2 x 7 with Two Ball Joint Sockets, Squared Ends
Comments from Submitter:
Part 61054 should be the in the main list of pieces, not an alternate item, as from 2008 onwards, all Bionicle axle and pin connectors had squared ends. Therefore, part 50898 should be removed from the inventory.

There is not a ton of good evidence out there to look at in regards to this change
request, but what I have seen never shows part 50898 in the set. I have not even
seen one used set that includes it, and I have looked at a lot of them.
The best evidence that I have are photographs on Brickshelf that have timestamps
from early and mid 2008 that clearly show 61054. Since the set was released in
early 2008, these photos are almost surely from original sets.
Also, because the original inventory was inventoried from "Instructions" as its
source, it should have been inventoried with 61054 from the very beginning. The
instructions clearly show 61054 in the build and the parts list.
The inventory was then later confirmed from "Sealed Set Contents" with the addition
of the alternate.
In conclusion, I find it very unlikely that this set ever came with 50898, and
it can always be added back if any "sure thing" evidence pops up that it did.
These requests have been accepted.
Cheers,
Randy
P.S. I believe some of the other Phantoka sets may have a similar issue here,
but I don't have the time to look over all of them right now.
