I checked while redoing this set that I own.
Whew! This one took some time to go over! Good thing I had a football game to
watch while I was doing it.
Going through the entire instructions manual and looking over all four models
built, I came up with the following numbers:
Red Model (Main): 41x 2780 and 23x 32062
Green Model: 42x 2780 and 23x 32062
Blue Model: 16x 2780 and 24x 32062
Yellow Model: 33x 2780 and 18x 32062
Rebrickable corroborates every one of these numbers for the different models,
so good job to me and whoever did the work for Rebrickable.
According to the amount of parts needed to build all four models, the maximum
number of 2780 needed is 42x, and the maximum number of 32062 needed is 24x.
These are exactly the numbers that you came up with for these change requests,
also, so good job to you as well!
What is interesting though is that the official LEGO data claims there are 43x
2780 and 24x 32062 included in the set, and these quantities just so happen to
be the exact quantities that were listed in the original BrickLink inventory
before being altered in 2015:
