Hi - some of my axles are a bit bent and don't flow in and out easily through
an axle checker, like this one - https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-24907/BrickPolis/straight-axle-checker/#details.
This impacts some of the GBCs that require an absolute straight axle.

Any ideas on how I can straighten axles, so I can reuse them for GBCs. I tried
hard water, but that didn't really help.

Thanks much !!

Any that are deformed will always be a weak spot even if you straighten them
again. Rather than go to the effort of having to dismantle a GBC module when
it fails again in the future, why not just buy new ones and use the bent ones
where tolerance is not so important?

Yes, Bricklink has this great function called 'Buy'. You just click on
the part like

Part No: 3708 Name: Technic, Axle 12L
*
3708 Technic, Axle 12L
Parts: Technic, Axle
, on a shop you like. After a few clicks, pay a few cents
per part and a little more for shipping, and within a few days, the mailman will
deliver you perfectly straight axles in any quantity you like.
