I have a 30375 that isn't quite lime, or isn't in the range of shades
I would normally associate with lime. Here it is with x118 that I have verified
(as far as I am able, by comparing it with other pieces) as lime. Is this just
a normal color variation? The part in question doesn't seem to come in any
other greenish colors. Looking at the color guide online it seems to resemble
"neon green" which I'm not sure is an actual color:

From the image, it looks like it's been played with so is there a change
that it's just worn or sunbleached? I would still call it lime, but just
"old" and used from a color perspective.

Definitely been played with, just doesn't match anything else I have in lime,
and it's a uniform color (with a bit of dirt).

I have almost 60 of it. It is a variant in my opinion but I am not sure when
it appeared

I suppose it came from figure Altair (lom003) but I think it was often found
in the USA. I counting this as an extra color for my droid army and collect them.

I got used with an Altair head but I have no idea if that's where it originally
came from - the figure also had one green arm and no legs. I have another Altair
figure with a normal lime torso.
