Hi Guys.

I am pretty new to selling on BL and got a question
I was wondering if you could start part out and finish next day without BL logging
you out and me eventually losing what I have input.

Thank you

Artur

Daily maintenance might log you out again.

Check the parts count in the inventory upfront and then do the part out on the
website.

Thank you for answer. When you star part out , do tou have to complete straight
away or can you save in half way through and continue next day?
Thank you

You can do it by parting out by using the "exclude all parts" option on the part
out screen. Then for each part you process, unclick the delete checkbox. Then
submit whenever you like and you will only submit the parts you have processed
in that session.

Yes you can. I do it all the time. However, you can loose everything if you're
not careful.

If you start a partout and leave it for a few hours, before you hit the submit
button, first open a new tab and re-login to bricklink.com. Now you can return
to your partout tab and finish the partout.

The key is to always make sure you are logged into bricklink.com in another tab
before you hit the submit button.

Good luck!

Hi Artur,

I don't know about the Part Out function in BrickLink but this is something
that works well with the Brick Seller app.

Brick Seller has powerful part out features that will allow you to part out a
set of any size directly into your Bricklink (and Brick Owl) inventory (no need
for XML file uploads). Optionally, you can part out by relative weight ranges
which is great for large sets so can go from biggest to smallest parts. For
the large creative sets, you can part out by color. You can also track the cost
of the sets being parted out.

If you are not familiar with Brick Seller, you can find a link to it on the BrickLink
Inventory Software links here: https://www.bricklink.com/links.asp?catID=9

If you use an offline program like brickstock or brickstore you can take care
of all of that and save the document on your computer. Import the whole thing
when you are done and there is no risk of losing anything, 500 errors, etc.

I work with BSX files all the time. Sometimes I part out a whole batch of different
sets, 10 of this, 10 of that, etc, and upload them all at once. I do this to
focus my store in a certain theme, range or color direction for a few weeks.
This is only possible by doing everything off line and uploading it all at once.
