| Hello! I am new seller on Bricklink.
I've been searching for an answer for a long time and never found the answer.
I completely sold some items and I thought that after that this item suppose
to move to the stockroom with the zero quantity.
But it never showed up there. When I manually move some positions from store
to stockroom - it is working perfectly.
I would never believe that I should add this item manually one more time, I mean,
later when I have it in my store again.
The setting 'Retain items in inventory after items are sold out' is YES
What am doing wrong?

That should work. Click on an order that a customer has placed and click on "Show
QTY left in my inventory" if you don't already have that enabled. For items
that the customer bought all you had, does it show a "0" or an ""x". If it's
the zero, then they are being retained in your stockroom. If it's an "x",
they're being completely deleted.

Keep in mind that option is a flag for every individual lot. If you have only
started checking/marking it recently and didn't in the past, all previous
lots will wither away when empty. You can perform a global update to your inventory
if you want it for everything by doing the following:
1) Go here - https://www.bricklink.com/inventory.asp?itemView=7
If you don't want all, filter by a different inventory option.
2) Check the box next to "Available"
3) Select radio button "Retain items in inventory after items are sold out"
4) Select radio button "Yes" next to above
5) Submit
If you want to do other options, you can do by color, part, whatever, just use
the same radio button options.

| Ok, I checked as firestar246 said, and there is really "x" in the field of fully
sold items.
I do understand that all those "x" records are gone for good.
I did all 5 steps (checked, submitted etc., although it was by default "Retain
items in inventory after items are sold out" - "Yes"). So, I wait for the next
order to check if it works.
What I don't understand - why it wasn't moved to the stockroom with 0,
as I think it should be, in the beginning?
Is it all because I didn't set "Check the Show Qty Left in My Inventory"
checkbox on?

I don't think it has anything to do with that option at all. When you are
adding items to your inventory, you need to select the "retain" box (image one)
which is not on by default. My guess is that you started adding items and just
weren't or didn't use it for everything. Manually adding is annoying
and you can easily miss a box (I've done it enough myself).
If this is a setting that you want on all of you inventory by default, you can
update your model setting here https://www.bricklink.com/invOptionsAdd.asp (image
two) so that anything new added will have it auto selected.

| Yeah, that was it.
Thank you, good man. I almost broke my last mind trying to figure it out.
Thanks again

Bookmark this page https://www.bricklink.com/v2/settings/pref_settings.page or
know that it is the settings link under "My BL". Every time I get frustrated
on an option I review these links again and find more settings I didn't know.
Keep in mind there are three additional links on the bottom that have more settings.
These are the one I didn't see originally that assumed were somehow part
of the images and have most of the triggers you probably want/need.
