This set was released in 1981 and since 1981, the connectors began to have middle
pin 766c01.
I have got photos of a new copy and multiple used-in-mint-condition copies with

So they are early release.
There may still exist earlier copies coming with connectors

but we have not found any reliable copy and so, no evidence for that, therefore
