Was watching an episode from season 1 of the show Empire last night and LEGO
made a cameo appearance. The show aired just a few years ago, but the scene was
a flashback to around the year 2000. (If anyone has seen the show - it was the
flashback to Lucius' son hiding hiding a gun in his LEGO bin).
Can't recognize much - it is a very random bin and appears only briefly.
But to my surprise they seem to have obtained correct vintage pieces for the
scene - the greys look old grey. So I wonder whether they just got lucky or actually
made sure to get older bricks. I seem to recall LEGO fans chatting about a movie
trailer set in the 80s where lime bricks anachronistically appeared? Does anyone
else remember that?
