Problem is, Scala has its own connection system and we don't know if these
parts are only compatible with those connections. Will the tile and dish attach
to building system parts?

Yes, both of them work perfectly well with System parts. The Scala dish can fit
any 2x2 round part on top, and can fit on top of either a 2x2 jumper or any
4 studs. The 3x6 tile doesn't have any tubes but the outer rim works just
like a regular tile. Neither of them use any connection types that are unique
to Scala.
