I'm looking for some advise here.

I placed a fairly small order. About $30 in 26 lots (not including taxes and
shipping). This was about 10am on a weekday (I was working, don't tell my
boss). At about 10:30 I realized I had made a mistake and sent the seller a message
to remove two items from the order (in short I had re-used a spreadsheet and
didn't delete all the lines before using it, so two items I didn't need).
I then finished up some work and walked away from my computer to have lunch.

I get back at noon (90 mins later) and I have three messages from the seller.
First one telling me to submit an order change and he could remove them in the
system (totally fine!). Then he sends me another message 20 mins later telling
me to "hurry up" so he can fix the order and pull the parts. Next message is
him a few mins later accusing me of trying to get around his minimum lots (25)
and trying to pull a fast one, telling me he won't remove the items and he'd
be pulling the order as is.

I tell him politely, "sorry about that, I was not trying to get around the lot
limits, please just cancel the order then"

Then he sends over the next few hours several long messages accusing me of all
kinds of terrible things, general rudeness and obnoxious behavior. I replied
a couple of times to clarify my intent, but as is to be expected, he just escalated
the rudeness and I gave up.

At this point, there's no way I'm paying for the order, I don't want
to give this person any money at all.

My questions are: A) He opened an NPB on me yesterday, if its my only one there's
no actual consequences for me, correct? (the FAQ says 3 and you get banned, I
don't plan on getting another), and B) is there any way to report this seller
to the admins? Looking at his feedback there are quite a few negative and all
of them mention the rudeness. I would like to report him if that's even possible,
I don't see how.

Not at all defending their actions, but were the parts you didn't need worth
that much $? I've realized that I ordered something I didn't need but
I never would ask to change the order. It was my fault after all.

It was $1.25 I think. If he had just replied nicely I likely would have just
paid for them and had extra, no big deal. It was the repeated rude messages that
turned me off.

I actually told him that in one of my later replies (I know, I know, I should
have just not replied at all) and it opened up another 3 paragraph rant about
how terrible of a person I am.

I totally understand and like I said before I am definitely not defending his
actions. I don't know about order changes and how they relate to NPB and
such. If he is using abusive language you do need to report it. Where to report
it is a good question.

As far as I'm aware, under BL terms, rudeness is not actionable offense -
though certainly not how to conduct business however.

I have to ask - since you were aware of the negative feedback for just this sort
of issue - why did you chose to do business there?

Chances are, even if you paid the order as is, the feedback left for you by this
disgruntled seller would probably not be good. Crazy, how over a few low value
lots, things have escalated to this end. Good Luck.

I didn't look at the feedback until after I placed the order. Several thousand
positive.

Yes, you really need to look at all forms; positive, neutral, negative - before
clicking checkout to get an overview.

What fun. Seems really like the seller absolutely loves to pull orders, so give
him a proper order to pull. If the order is still open, add an extra batch -
300 parts in 300 lots of the lowest possible value items you can find in the
store and tell the seller you want each lot bagged separately.

If the order is now closed, politely and meekly kiss the seller's behind
to cancel the NPB so you can add some more items and then go the same route as
above.

Hopefully the seller come to their senses and cancel.

Sorry to "steal" this thread here, but I went to your store for a quick looksee
and found what must be the weirdest list of countries any seller sells to.

You made me very curious: how on earth did you come up with that specific list?
Or is it completely random as it looks?

Bonjour Erik,

Not random at all. For the Lego community, this list is very well known. Haven't
you seen this list of countries before and why they are listed together?

Sorry to "steal" this thread here, but I went to your store for a quick looksee
and found what must be the weirdest list of countries any seller sells to.

You made me very curious: how on earth did you come up with that specific list?
Or is it completely random as it looks?

Erikk

Bonjour Erik,

Not random at all. For the Lego community, this list is very well known. Haven't
you seen this list of countries before and why they are listed together?

Now I'm curious. I may have seen these countries before, but I don't
know what the significance is.

Oh, these countries are known for the Lego community because these are exactly
those countries from whwere the well-reputed Bricklink store, JE Bricks,
accepts orders.

Hi Erik
It is a combination of what the post office will allow and where I can allow
for no cost bank transfers. The day I figure how the Post Office here do their
ship to list, will be the day I will be known as a genius. They keep giving out
these weird lists and no answers. So why I can, for example, ship airmail to
France, Netherlands, Spain, Italy and Portugal today but had airmail service
to most of Europe suspended (again) last week, is a complete mystery. UK and
USA are, for other reasons, off my list regardless sorry to say.

Also, I can do most of the world with surface mail, but have totally discontinued
it - it is just not worth the frustration and anxiety it seemingly cause buyers
to experience, despite the 50%+ cost savings.

Isn't that repetitive? Is there a rude that's not obnoxious, that's
pleasant?

They were rude or obnoxious, compounding the terms doesn't make them more
of either. If that was your intent, how about using adverbs like extremely or
very applied to either adjective?

But now I'm being obnoxious, so please excuse my rudeness

Work it out people!
