I think it's the opposite of lack of demand; there was a huge demand for
Ninjago so the prices jumped up like crazy and they all sold out! That's
why the used and new prices for some of those sets went up really fast over the
past year. COVID had that effect on LEGO as a whole.

Thanks for the replies. That's true, the release of city gardens definitely
probably woke a lot of people up. I just didn't expect the number to drop
to zero for so many used sets in the USA, oh well.

You've chosen some recent and very niche sets, in that they are expensive
ones from the theme and as they are recent, people with them are unlikely to
be bored by them and wanting to sell them on. Those 3 sets have sold 12 times
in total in six months in used condition, worldwide. Go for smaller, more widely
available and cheaper sets and you'll see plenty of demand (and supply).

Ah, I am not very familiar with Ninjago so don't know the difference between
niche and widely available sets. More to learn...I did see much cheaper sets
that are still in the same state (no used in the USA) e.g.

But if they're both too recently retired and also rare, then that could certainly
explain it. Thanks.
