| I just received a number of 2x4 bricks to complete my color pallet, but I've
already identified two problem with the order, and I'm unsure if the other
bricks included are the right color either. The tall part is confirmed Blue-violet
from set 8781. The two purple-ish pieces are supposed to be Medium Violet and
Light Purple. While I believe one of them might be Medium Violet, 1) I don't
know which one it would be and 2) I'm fairly sure the second is not Light
Purple so I don't know what it would be.

Both are medium violet, one is medium bluish violet (left) and the other one
medium reddish violet (right).

Light purple.

This is a great color comparison that I expected. Ironically enough, this order
included the Purple and Medium Lavender, so that's how I was sure that neither
was "Light Purple"

There are "tones" of medium violet??? I don't see these names in the BL color

That's very interesting. I used your color codes and found images linked
to Brickset that had some good information. I guess BL does nothing to distinguish
between the versions then so you really don't know what you will get when
you order that part color.
